Information hus been receivod hero that tho German expedition organised for tho relief of Emin Bey has met with great hostility from tho Natives at Vitu, where a fierce battlo was fought, and Dr Peters, who commanded the expedition, and the whole of his party with two exceptions—one Native and one European—wore massacred.
