Post Office Notice.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Duncdin, subject to any necessary alterations as under:—
Local mails between Duncdin and Oamaru, also those for the Nascby line, will close at 7.15 a.m., and be forwarded by the 7.45 a.m. train. For Northern Ports, overland dally, at 10.30 a.m., at Chief Post Office. Late letters, guard's v.»n. North express train, at 11 a.m. Tho Post Office, Dunodin North, will be cleared at a.m. Thursday, Novkmber 7. For Southland, Australian Coloniep, Tndia, China, Japan, Con'inent of E'irnnc, United Kingdom, etc.—Per Mararoa, at 2.20 p.m. Into letters, C.P.0., at 2.30 p.m. Money orders (for Australian Colonies only), registered letters, and newspapers, at 1.20 p.m. Friday, Novemrkr 8. For Westport direct.—Per Kawatiri, at 1.50 p.m. Late letters, guard's van, Port Chalmers train at 2.30 p.m. For Akaroa.—Per Grafton, at 5 p.m. Monday, the 11th inst., is to be observed by the Postal Department as a holiday.
