Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subject to any necessary alterations as under:— Local mails between Dunedin and Oamaru, also those for the Naseby line, will close at 7.15 a.m., and be forwarded by the 7.45 a.m. train. For Northern Porta, overland dally, at 10.30 »m., at Chief Post Office. Late letters, guard’s ran. North express train, at 11 a.m. The Post Office, Dunedin North, will bo cleared at 10 a.m.
Wednesday, November 6. For Northern Ports,—Pet Manapouri, at 50 p.m. Late letters, C.P.0., at 2 p.m Thursday, November 7. For Southland. Australian Colonies, India, China, Japan, Continent of Europe, United Kingdom, etc.—Per Mararoa, at 2.20 p.m. Late letters, 0.P.0., at 2 30 p.m. Money orders (for Australian Colonies only), registered letters, and newspapers, at 1.20 p.m. For Akaroa.—Per Graff on, at 5p m.
Monday, tbe llth inst., is to bo observed by the Postal Department as a holiday. Mails usually despatched on that day will close at the Chief Post Office at 8 p.m. on Saturday, tbe Bkh. _ (Signed) Bdw. D, Bdtts, Chief Postmaster.
