Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subject to any necessary alterations as under:— Local mails between Dunedin and Oamaru, also those for the Naseby line, will close at 7.15 a.m., and be forwarded by the 7.45 a.m. train. For Northern Ports, ovorland dally, at 10.30 a.m., at Chiof Post Office. Late letters, guard's »an, North expresH train, at 11 a.m. The Post Office, Dunedin North, will be cleared at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 5. For Australian Colonies.—Per Wakatipu, at 10.30 a.m. Late letters, North express, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Novrmber 6. For Northern Ports.—Per Manapouri, at 1.50 p.m. Late letters, 0.P.0., at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 7. t For Southland, Aubtralian Colonior, India, China, Japan. ConMnent of Eurone, United Kingdom/etc.—Per Mararoa. at 2.20 p.m. Ltte letterß, C.P.0., at 2.30 p.m. Money orders (for Australian Colonics only), registered letters, and newspapers, at 1.20 p.m. For Akaroa.—Per Grafton, at 5 p.m. Mails for Karamea, per Nile, close at Westport at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, sth November. Monday, the 11th ins-t., is to bo observed by the Postal Department as a holiday. Mails usually despatched on that day will close at tho Chief Post Office at 8 p.m. on Saturday, tho Bth.
