A letter has been received from the Agent-General notifying that he has shipped by the Tainui a picture entitled the ' House of Commons,' which Lord Onslow has kindly consented to add to the collection for the Exhibition.
The Government of South Australia haye notified to the New Zealand Government the appointment of Mr H. J. Scott, who is at present in Dunedin, as representative at the Exhibition of the South Australian Vine-growers' Association. The Science and Art Department of Sou th Kensington are sending out by the Tainui a set of students' works for exhibition. The Most Rev. Dr Moran has accepted an invitation to be present at the opening ceremony. Mr E. Davies ha 3 arrived to take charge of the Wellington Court. Lady Onslow will arrive to-moriow morning by the Hinemoa, and goes on to the Lakes during the day, where she will remain for some time.
