The ‘Argus,’ commenting on the remarks uttered last week by Mr Dow, Minister of Agriculture, with reference to using certain portions of Pond’s patent in the construction of casks for the export of butter, hopes that a strong sense of justice will cause the Government to repudiate any action transgressing the patent rights of Mr Pond ; and it urges that compensation should be paid to Mr Pond.
The New South Wales Parliament will meet on November 26.
