The direot steamer Ruapehu will leave Wellington for London via Rio de Janeiro on Thursday, October 31. Mails for the United Kingdom, etc., close at this office on Tuesday, October 29, at 10 a.m. Parcels for the United Kingdom, per Ruapehu, will close at this office on Tuesday, 29th, at 9.30 a.m. Correspondence intended to be despatched by the Ruapehu must be specially addressed, late lotters guard's van, North train, at 11 a,m. .
