North express train, at 11 a.m. The Post Office, Dnnedin North, will be cleared at 10 a.m. Fbiday, October 25. For Akaroa.—Per Herald, at 5 p.m. DIRECT MAIL SERVICE. Tuesday, October 29. The direct steamer Ruapshu will leave Wellington for London via Bio de Janeiro on Thursday, October 31. Mails for tho United Kingdom, etc., close at this office on Tuesday, October 29, at 10 a.m. Parcels for the United Kingdom, per Ruapebu, will olose at this office on Tuesday, 29th, at 9.30 a.m. Correspondence intended to bo despatched by the Ruapehu must he specially addressed, lato letters guard's van, North train, at 11 a.m. Due in London December 12.
