MEETING OF CREDITORS.
RE A. F. MILLER. The first meeting of creditors in the estate of Andrew Fowler Miller, of Dunedin, vanman, which was to have been held at the Official Assignee's office this afternoon, lapsed for want of a quorum. Bankrupt's statement was as follows : Liabilities, LGO 63 6d; assets (furniture), L 5; deficiency, L 55 6s 6d. The list of creditors was as follows:—Robert Miller, L3O; R. Waghorn, Lls 6s; Archibald Miller, L 7 10s 6d ; Frank M'Neil, L 5; Dr Coughtrey, L2 10s; total, LOO 6s 6d. Bankrupt,{examined, said that it was about four years since the debts began to accumulate. He was out of work for two j ears, but was sometimes employed for a week or so. His earnings would on the second year average about 10s. He was earning 35s per week now, and earned 37s 6d for some time. He had a wife and children, and was pressed by one of the creditors (Waghorn) and forced to file. He had no property or money. He was not ill when out of employment—he could not get anything to do. He had been paying his way lately, but had been uuable to pay anything off tho old debts.
