A DANGEROUS PLACE.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir—Through the columns of your paper mention was made of a dangerous place at tho bottom of Russell street, near Canongate. Yesterday a little boy five years old had a tumble into it and sustained considerable hurt, though he was brought round without the aid of a doctor. But the next may not be so lucky. There must be a reason for letting it remain in such a state; it may be that sufficient rates are not paid in that locality.—l am, etc., Gulch. Duncdin, October IS.
