It is doubtful whether Lord Carrington will be present at the opening of the New Zealand Exhibition, owing to the reassembling of the New South Wales Parliament in November. He will probably visit Dunedin later on. The body of one of the girls drowned in the yachting accident was found floating in Sydney Harbor. A number of sharks were endeavoring to devour the body, and two boats' crews who attempted to secure it were driven off. Eventually the police launch, at great risk, recovered the body, and while it was being hauled on board a shark tore off one of the arms.
