WELLINGTON, October 15,
Captain Russell was sworn in as a member of the Government this morning. Ministers held a long Cabinet meeting, after which it was expected that the reallotment of portfolios would be officially made known; but the Premier, in reply to inquiries, said that he could not make the allotment known till this evening. He leaves for Taranaki tomorrow morning.
