INVERCARGILL, October 14,
At the Police Court to-day Jehn Lewis was fined LI and costs (LI 6s) for throwing stones on the roof of the Salvation Army meeting house at Rimu. The charge against the captain of the Invercargill branch of the Army of obstructing traffic in the street was (in the absence of a municipal by-law on the matter) dismissed.
