TO THE EDITOR.
Sm,— “Shareholder” in to-night’s Stab states that our Exhibition is only two acres less than the Melbourne one. This I deny. I should like to know where he got his information. The last Melbourne Exhibition buildings covered 35£ acres, and if he wishes he can see description of buildings and plans in ‘ Leader ’ and ‘ Australasian ’ of August 4, 1881, copies of which I have in my possession, and which I will be pleased to send “ Shareholder ” if he leaves his address at the Stab Office. I believe that Mr Joubert recently stated that the Melbourne Exhibition covered only 15| acres, but I should like him to explain where he gets his figures from.—l am, etc., Australian. Dunedin, October 9.
