THE LONDON WOOL SALES.

AN ADVANCE IN PRICES.

[By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] [Per Press Association.]

LONDON, October 9.

Competition at the wool sales is strong, and prices have reached the highest point during the series.

Messrs Dalgety and Co. have received the following cablegram from their London office, dated 9th October:—“ Wool sales continue firm, prices being rather higher since our last telegram, especially for lustrous, coarse, and medium cross-bred. As far as we can judge to-day fashion favors these. ”
