THE LONDON WOOL SALES.
The British and New Zealand Mortgage and Agency Company have received the following cablegram from Messrs Helmuth, Schwattze, and Co., dated the sth inst,: — “ Since our last telegram there is no change for the bulk of wools. Sales continue very animated. About 140,000 bales have been catalogued up to date, of which about 55 per cent, have been taken for export.” Messrs Murray, Roberts, and Co. have received the following cablegram from their London house (Messrs Sanderson, Murray, and Co.), dated sth instMarket is irregular and weaker for faulty scoured and medium greasy merino; extra good washed merino difficult of sale; other descriptions continue firm.”
