Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subject to any necessary alterations as under:— Local mails between Dunedin and Oamaru, also those for the Naneby line, will close at 7.1!) a.m., and be forwarded by the 7.45 a.in. train. For Northern Ports, overland dally, at 10.30 a.m., at Chief Post Office. Late letters, guard’s van, North express train, at 11 a.m. The Post Office, Dunedin North, will be cleared at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 5. For China (to connect with the Hangchow at Wellington), at 10.30 am. Late letters, guard’s van, express train, at 11 a.m. The steamer Hinemoa will leave the Bluff for the West Coast Sounds on Friday, the 11th inst.
