AN EXTRAORDINARY DEATH.
AUCKLAND, September 28.
Mervyn Hume, five years of age, son of Mr James Hume, of the Bank of New Zealand, Hamilton, was choked by a folding chair closing on his throat. The doctor resorted to tracheotomy to save his life, but failed.
