Post Office Notice.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunodin, subject to any necessary alterations as under:—
Local mails between Duncdin and Oamanii also those for the Maseby line, will close at 7.15 a.m., and bo forwarded by the 7.15 a.m. train.
For Northern Portg, overland daily, at 10.30 a.m., at Chief Post Office. Lata letters, guard's van, North express train, at 11 a.m. Tho Post Office, Duncdin North, will bo cleared at 10 a.m.
DIRECT MAIL SERVICE.

The direct steamer Kimutaka will leave Lyttelton for London via Rio do Janeiro on Thursday, October 3. Mails for the United Kingdom, etc., close at this office on Wednesday, October 2, at 1.50 p.m. Parcels for the United Kingdom, per Kimutaka, will close at this oflico on Wednesday, 2nd. at 9.30 a.m. Correspondence intended to bo despatched by tbo Rimutaka must he specially addressed. Lato letters guard's van, Port train, at 2.30 p.m
