Alex. Crombie, of Kingstown, was shootiDg hares this morning, when his gun burst, shattering his hand, and blowing bis nose off.

Captain Woollcombe, one of the oldest identities, was run away with to-day by a young horse in a buggy, which capsized, and he had one of his legs broken in two places. The refrigerating company have made satisfactory arrangements with Nelson Bros., and will at once take steps to enlarge the premises and plant to a freezing capacity of 1,000 sheep per day, which should be equal to the requirements of the district for many years.
