In connection with the half-yearly meeting of r,ho Otago District, M.U.1.U.0.F., held at Oamacu on Saturday last, a large muster of the delegates and brethren assembled in the lodge room, at the invitation of the Loyal Oamaru Lodge, where a social reunion was held. The N.G. of the lodge (Bro. MTheraon) occupied the chair, and, in addition to the toasts usually given and responded to on such occasions, the entertainment was contributed to by songs and recitations from a number of the brethren, and altogether a most enjoyable evening was spent.
