A meeting of delegates from the City and suburban clubs was held in the Shamrock Hotel last evening for the purpose of arranging matches for the incoming season. The following clubs were represented:—Dunedin, Messrs Mowat and Young; Roslyn, Messrs Carlton and Duncan; Taieri, Mr Churton ; Green Island, Mr Leary ; Caledonian, Messrs Walker and Dodds. Mr Mowat was elected chairman of the delegates, and Mr Dodds secretary for the season.
The matches were arranged as follow : November 9-Dunedin v. Roslyn, Roslyn green. ~ 16—Caledonian v. Taieri, Caledonian green. ~ 23—Green Island r. Dunedin, Dunedin preen. „ 23—Caledonian v. Roslyn, Itoslyß preen.
December 7—Taiori v. Dunedin,' Dunedin preen. „ 7—Green island v. Caledonian, Caledonian green. ~ 21—Caledonian v. Dunedin, Caledonian preen ~ 21—Taieri v. Roslyn, Taieri jjreaß. 1890.
January 11—Roslyn v. Green Island, oreen Island green. „ 18-qreen Island v. Taieri, flreen Island green.
Mr Cablton suggested that another match be played, say on December 14, by four rinks chosen from delegates to the Association, against four rinks selected from the five city and suburban clubs, the players to be selected from the various olubs as follow:—Four each from the Dunedin and Caledonian Clubs, three from Roslyn, three from the Taieri, and two from Green Island. This was unanimously approved of; the match to be played on the Caledonian green..
