At a meeting of the Sydenham Borough Council last night the Mayor said the accommodation at Sydenham District School was far from satisfactory. One hundred and thirty children had been crowded out that day. The Board of Education say they have no money for new buildings, It was decided to write to the Minister of Education.

GREYMOUTH, September 17.

The amount collected at Greymouth on behalf of the London dock strikers was LBS 10. All the West Coast contributions will be remitted together.
