Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subject to any necessary alterations os under:— Local mails between Dunedin and Oamatu, also those for the Kaseby line, will close at 7.15 u.m., and be forwarded by the 7.45 a.m. train. For Northern Ports, overland daily, at 10.30 a.m., at Chief Post Office. Late letters, guard’s van. North express train, at 11 a.m. The Post Office, Dunedin North, will bo cleared at 10 a.m. Tuesday. September 17. For Lyttelton and Christchurch.—Per Takapuns, at 2.20 p.m. Late letters, Chief Post Office, 2.30 p,m. Wednesday, September 18. For Northern Ports.—Per Te Anau, at 1.50 p.m. Late letters, guard's van, Port Chalmers train, at 2.30 p.m. The steamer Waipara will leave Hokitika for Okarito and Southern ports, etc., on the 7th October.
