WELLINGTON, September 14,
A slip oacurred on the WelllngtonMasterton railway line near the summit yesterday, 300 cubic feet of stuff having tell. Trains run as far as the obstruction and exchange passengers, NAPIER, September 14. Richard Tarpey, remanded on Thursday on a charge of forgery, was brought up this morning and discharged, a telegram from the Auckland police stating that it would be difficult to secure the necessary witnesses.
