For United Kingdom and Foreign Countries via tho United Kingdom, etc., at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, 18th. Registered correspondence at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, 17tb. Money orders at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, 17th. Book packots and newspapers at 'J a.m. on Wednesday, 18th. The above mail will close at the branch post office, Dunedin North, for money orders at 4 p.m., registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 17th; letters at 0.30 a.m., and newspapers at 530 a.m. on the 18th. At the South Dunedin office, for money orders at 4 p in., and registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 17th ; and for lettow and newspapers .at 5 a.m. on the 18th. At the Port Chalmers office, at 8 a.m. on the 18h : money orders at 4 p.m , and registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 17th. Late letters, bearing an additional single rate of postage (6d) as a late fco can be posted in the mail van attached to tho North train leaving Duncdin railway station at 11 a.m. on tho 18th. Parcels for the United Kingdom, per Coptic, will be received at this office till Saturday, the 14th, at 5 p.m. The steamer Waipara will leave Hokitika for Okarito and Southern ports, etc., on the 7th October.
