REID v. GORE.
TO THE EDITOR, Sir,—l cannot allow the falsehoods, put forward by Mrs Reid to go unnoticed. She says that there was only one dealer came down. Will she deny that she did not bring Mr Brown (of George street) down ? And I also brought Mr Jeffs, who make the two as stated in my former letter. The 7s she referred to she knows very well should have been a cash transaction, as it bad nothing to do with the old account, which I never could get. As for her other statements—well, I will leave the public to judge. For the future lam done with widows, sewing machines, and bailiffs.—l am, etc., John Gore. Dunedin, September 10.
