ANOTHER LIBEL SUIT. WELLINGTON, September 9, The ‘ Evening Post ’ has received a writ from Mr Charles Bowles, of Carterton, claiming LI,OOO damages for alleged libel contained in one of the affidavits forwarded by Mr Jellicoe to the Governor hire Chemis, stating that he (Bowles) had blood stains upon his trousers which could not have been caused by killing sheep.
