The Cook County Council (Gisborne) have telegraphed to the Executive asking for a bay, which has been granted. Mr Oscar Meyer, Exhibition Commissioner for New South Wales, left for Sydney via Melbourne by the Tarawera, which sailed this afternoon. The management intend removing to their offices at the Exhibition building on Saturday. A meeting of the Fisheries Committee was held this afternooD. It was stated that matters in connection with the fisheries court were progressing in a most satisfactory manner, encouraging reports being received from many quarters. It was decided to proceed at once with the construction of the aquaria.
