The tire evidently started in the bullock byre, and quickly spread to the other portions of the building, which were totally destroyed. The property is valued at LI,OOO, anil is said to be insured in the South British office. Three draught horses belonging to a contractor named Stewart were also destroyed. The origin of the fire is at present unknown. General sympathy is felt for Mr Patrick in his unfortunate loss.
