Post Office Notice.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subject to any necessary alterations as under:— Local mails between Dunedin and Oaraaru, also those for the Naseby line, will close ot 7.15 a.m., and bo forwarded by the 7.45 a.m, train. For Northern Ports, overland daily, at 10.30 a.m., at Chief Post Office. Late letters, guard’s van, North express train, at 11 a.m. The Post Office, Dunedin North, will be cleared at 10 a.m, DIRECT MAIL SERVICE. Tussdat, September 3. The direct steamer Aorangi will leave Wellington for Plymouth via Rio de Janeiro on Thursday, September 5. Mails for the United Kingdom, etc., close at this office on Tuesday, September 3, at 10.30 a.m. I. ate letters guard’s van, North express train, at 11 a.m. Correspondence intended to be despatched by the Aorangi must be specially addressed.
