At the Police Court to-day a contract ploughman named Francis was fined L 5 for working a team of four horses with sore shoulders, and his employ-6, who actually drove the team, was fined LI. The larrikin disturbances of the theatre audiences have become quite a nuisance here, and the proprietor has decided to put a atop to them. This morning two young men were fined 20s and 5s respectively, with a warning that that sort of thing would be put a stop to.
