Disputes with shearers are prevalent throughout New South Wales. THE CENTENNIAL. SYDNEY, August 27. Most of the effects belonging to the passengers have been recovered from the steamer Centennial. THREATENED ANNEXATION OF THE NEW HEBRIDES. MELBOURNE, August 27. Premier Gillies considers that vigorous action on the part of the Australasian Governments is neeessary to combat the proposed annexation of the New Hebrides group to France. He is now in communication with the various Governments on the subject. A FUTILE MOVE. MELBOURNE, August 27. Very little interest is taken in the noconfidcnce debate. The Government are certain of a large majority.
