Mails close at tho Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subject to any necessary alterations as under:— Local mails between Dunedin and Oamaru, also thoso for the Naseby line, will close at 7.15 a.m., and bo forwarded by the 7.45 a.m. train. For Northern Ports, overland daily, at 10. SO a.m., at Ohiof Post Office. Late letters, guard's <-ar.. North express train, at 11 a.m. The Post Office, Dunedin North, will bo cleared at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 28. For Northern Torts.—Per Rotomahana, at 1.50 pm. Tate lettors, guard's van, Port Chalmers train, at 2,8) p.m. Thupsiut, August 29. For Southland, Australian Colonies (via Hobart), India, China, Japan, Continent of Europe, United Kingdom, etc.—Per To Anau, at 3 p.m. Money ordcrß (for Australian Colonies only), registered letters, and newspaper?, at 2 p.m. lato letters, guard's van, Port Chalmers train, at 3.35 p.m. FniiuT. Augu-t3O. For Akaroa. —Per Mahinapua, at 4 45 p.m. The Hinemoa will leave Russell for Kermadcc Islands on Wednesday, tho 28th inst. A Post Office has beon opened at Ncnthorn.
