A WORD OF WARNING.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—My attention having been drawn to a letter which appeared in your issue of the 12th inst., under the above heading, signed "Phosphorus,"in which it was stated tlmt rabbits consigned to Dunedin from Maudeville were taken from country which had been systematically poisoned, and as it to happens that I was the only consignor of rabbits to Dunedin at that date, I hope you will allow me space to give "Phosphorus" the lie direct. No poison bad been laid on the ground from which any rabbits that I sent to Dunedin were taken.—l am, etc.,
