North express train, at 11 a.m. The Post Office, Dunedin North, will be cleared at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, The s s. Elderslie will le-ive Port Chalmers for London d rect on Wednesday, the 14th. Maila close at thia office at 11.45 am. Late letters, guard's van, Port train, at 12.10 p.m. Correspondence per Elderßlio must bo specially addressed, For Northern Ports. Per Manapouri, at 3.5 C p.m. Lato letters, C.P.0., at 4 p.m. Thursday, August 15. Wednhsday, August 21. The contract steamer Arawa will leave Wellington for Plymouth via Bio de Janeiro on Thursday, Augußt 22. Tho abovo mail will cloße at the branch post office, Duncdin North, for money oiders at 4 p.m., registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 20th ; for letters at 9.30 a.m., and newspapers at 530 a.m. on tho 21st. At tho South Dunedin office, for money orders at 4 p m., and registered letterß at 5 p.m. on the 20th; and for letten and newspapers at 5 a.m. on tho 21st, At the Port Chalmers office, at 8 a.m. on the 21st; money orders at 4 p m., and registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 20tb. Lato letters, bearing an additional single rate of postago (6d) as a late fee can be posted in the mail van attached to tho North train leaving Dunedin railway station at 11 a.m. on the2lbt. Parcels for the United Kingdom, per Arawa, will close at thU offico on Monday, the 18th, at 9.30 a.m. A Post Offico has been opened at Nenthorn.
