TO THK EDITOR. Sir,—Who is responsible for the mud and manure depot now being formed in the Triangle? The deposit is unsightly, useless, and a nuisance. If this is the outcome of strained relations between the Council and the Amenities Society, it would be better that operations should be suspended all round. I see no reason why the ratepayers should be made to suffer. If the Council wish to make a flytrap for catching small boys, I wish they would try the experiment elsewhere. —I am, etc., On the Triangle. Dunedin, August 10.
