[Peb United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, August 12, The body of Gent, the missing man from Ormond Bush, has been found at Tairua, where he is supposed to have been drowned GISBORNE, August 12. At the Police Court to-day J. H. Aislabie, Robert Wake, Winter Hammon, and J. Adlan were charged with instigating and taking part in a ruffle for a racehorse, and Aislabie was fined L 5 and the others LI each. WANGANUI. August 12. Dissatisfaction is being manifested here at the action of the Railway Commibsioners in calling upon the district manager and station-master to resign. Both officers have left the service. The grounds of complaint against them wero the collision which recently occurred on the line, and some alleged breaches of departmental rules. INVERCARGILL, August 12.
At the Police Court to-day two boys were charged with stealing a bag of feathers, two with stealing a quantity of sacks, and one with wilfully breaking windows. Three were ordered to receive six strokes of the biroh, one was sent to the Industrial School, and the fifth was discharged.
