A REAL EVICTION.
WAIPAWA, Augusts. A real Irish eviction is taking place here. The tenants of a man named Samuel Hamlin went ordered to quit a small tenement, and, having refused, the landlord proceeded yesterday to take out the windows. Bags were nailed up by the tenant, whose name is Masters, a chimney sweep, whs made hostile demonstrations, and a duel seemed imminent with axo and spade ; but, after much threatening, hostilities ceased till this morning, when tho shingles were removed and the chimney taken down, the house being quite dismantled. The aid of the police was invoked on both sides. No bones were broken.
