Sir, —A letter signed “Litheand Active” appears in your Saturday’s issue anentlarrikinism in Roslyn, Your correspondent draws very considerably on his imagination, and makes mountains out of molehills. The “ screams of females ” were caused by an old man holding up his arms to prevent himself being run over by a young damsel who came rushing down the street on her way home. Our suburb is one of the quietest and best looked after about Dunedin, and I think there is little need for the heavy slick “Lithe and Active” speaks of.—l am, etc., Roslyn. Roslyn, August 7.
