Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subjeot to any necesßaiy alterations as under:—
Local mails between Dunedin and Oamaru, also those for the Naseby line, will close at 7.15 a.m., and be forwarded by the 7.45 a.m. train. For Northern Ports, overland daily, at 10.30 a.m., at Chief Post Office. Late letters, guard's van, North expres* train, at 11 a.m. The Post Office, Dunedin North, will be cleared at 10 a.m.

For Southland, Australian Colonies via Hobart, India, China, Japan, Continent of Europe, United Kingdom, etc.—Per Tarawera, at 1.50 p.m. Money orders (for Australian only), registered letters, and newspaper?, at 12.50 p.m. late letters, guard's van, Port Chalmers traiu, at 2.30 p.m. DIRECT MAIL SERVICE.
