SHOOTING COMPETITION.

A rifle match between a team of eight representatives! of Messrs Neill and Co., limited, and an equal number chosen from the employes of Messrs A. and T. Burt and Begg and Wilkinson (New Zealand Implement Company) came off on Saturday afternoon at the Pelichet Bay range. The weather was unfavorable for good shooting, rain and enow falling continuously during tho entire afternoon. The conditions were seven shots at each range—2ooyds, 400 yds, and 500 yds.
