SATURDAY NIGHT'S MEETING RE THE REPRESENTATION BILL.
TO the editor. Sir,—l fully intended being present at the meeting held to consider the action now being taken by our members in Wellington re the Representation Bill, but when I found where it was to be held I thought there would be such a crush that I determined otherwise.
I notice the Mayor stated "that immemediately on receipt of the requisition asking him to call the meeting ho set about doing so, and found the only hall that was vacant was the one in which they were met." Now, on inquiry I find this is not correct, as the Garrison Hall could have been obtained. How about His Worship's veracity I—l am, etc., Citizen. Dunedin, July 29.
