A THREATENED STRIKE.
WEST PORT, July 27.
The difficulty between the Labor Union and Wilkie Bros, has reached a crisis. The Union gave notice to the contractors this morning that unless the non-union men are discharged from the works the unionists will leave the quarries on Monday ; further, that they will not admit non-unionists to membership at present.
