CirY POLICE COURT. (Before His Worship the Mayor and Mr A. Barr, J.P.s.) Drunkenness.—For this offence Belinda Throsbey (seven previous convictioas) was fined ss, in default twenty-hours' imprisonment. Frederick John Throsbey (twenty previous convictions), who was also charged with behaving in a riotous manner, was fined 10s, in default forty-eight hours' imprisonment. A first offonder was convicted and discharged. By-law Case.—For allowing two heifeis to wander at large at Ravensbourne, Thomas Low (who did not appear) was finod Is, without costs. Usini; Provoking Language. Alice O'Hallorau charged Alice Dwycr with using abusive and provoking languago to her on the 23rd inst., and asked that she be bound over to keep the peace. Mr G alia way appeared for defendant,—The case was dismissed*
