INVERCARGILL, July 25. Thos. Fearn, licensee of tbe Three Horseshoes Hotel, was fined L 5, and the conviction ordered to be endorsed on his license, for permitting drunkenness on his licensed premises. A settler went there for a drink on his way home, but stopped two days in a state of intoxication. He had Ll6O with him when he went into the hotel, and lost LBO while there.
