COLLISION IN THE CHANNEL.. LONDON. July 23. (Reooiv ed July 24,1889, at 12.2) p.m.)
The steamers Lufra and Bondevinin came into collision in the Channel. The latter caught fire and sank. The crew of the Lufra abandoned their vessel and took to the boats, fearing an explosion of gunpowder. Three men are missing.
