Ford, who is madp to say that he purchased the debts of Ford aud Smith, meaning, I presume, according to fact, the debts of J. Ford and Co. previous to his assignment. . Secondly, by J. Ford, that our capital m starting was to be LIOO each ; the agreement being L3OO each, which sum I put into the business tho first month of my partnership—L2oo in cash and LICO in goods.
