Dupkix there are en route to Christchurch a pure-bred Leicester bull and six rams—one Leicester and five Pouthdowna—which were bought; in England fir Mr Deans, of Canterbury, and are now on their way to his station. Messrs Dalsety and Co. have received the following cablegram from their Sydney branch, dated to-day:-" Wheat market unchanged—Tuscan, 4=i Id ; Hun* erV, 3s lOd. New Zealand feed oats, 3s. Potatoes: Market quiet, but prices well maintained, L 4 IDf. Flour prospects in general are diecouragirg, L 9 10s."
