THE LONDON WOOL SALES.
Messrs Dalgety and Co. have received the following cablegram from their head office, dated London, 16th July :—" Wool gales closed firm. Lately reported rates fully maintained. 182,000 bales taken for home consumption ; 155,000 bales taken for export, inclusive of 10,000 bales taken for America; 9,000 bales held over. The fourth series estimated total probably available, including old stock, 230,000 bales. Prospects in general are Batisfaotory."
